Payment methods
We accept payment by credit card, debit card, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, EFT, Cheque and Money Order (goods despatched only when funds are cleared).

In the event of any product listed at an incorrect price due to information received from our suppliers or an administration error, and Clay & Hunt Pty Ltd (herein referred to as CH) shall have the full right to cancel or refuse any or all orders placed for products listed at an incorrect price. This will also be applicable to orders placed and paid for by credit card. If the payment has been made or your credit card charged will, within 7-14 days, credit the amount of the incorrect price.

All references to $ and dollars on the website are to Australian currency. All prices listed were current at the time of publication on the website and are inclusive of GST.

Shipping and Delivery
All orders are shipped within 48 hours of receipt of the order on business days. No deliveries will be made on weekends or public holidays.

Actual delivery times are Guaranteed next business day after shipping within the Next Business Day Express Post Network or within Intrastate Networks. The delivery timeframes above are guidelines only. CH has no liability resulting from a failure to deliver in accordance with these timetables.

Delivery is within Australia only and the shipping charges are indicated at Checkout.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. Strikes, floods, COVID-19 etc.).

We recommend either a work address (please include full business name, receivers name and other relevant details) or PO BOX for prompt delivery.

Clay & Hunt and you are bound by the terms and conditions of Australia Post as the deliverer of the Goods, and Clay & Hunt reserves the right to determine the Australia Post delivery service to be used for the delivery of the Goods.

Shipping Charges

The only method of delivery of goods available for products purchased on this website is via Australia Post Express. Please contact us if you believe your order will require other means of freighting.

Events Outside Control

Clay & Hunt is not responsible for non-delivery or delay in delivery of any of the Goods caused directly or indirectly by events outside the control of the parties, including but not limited to:

  • war, threat of war or warlike conditions, hostilities, civil commotion, riots, fire, flood, strikes, lock-outs, accidental breakdown or mechanical failure of plant, machinery or equipment, acts of government;
  • delays in transportation or default on the part of the manufacturer or Clay & Hunt; or
  • any other causes whatsoever beyond Clay & Hunt's reasonable control, notwithstanding that any such cause may be operative at the time of entering into this agreement. Goods not so delivered and Goods so delayed shall be delivered at any subsequent time or times and subject to these Terms of Condition, must be accepted and paid for by you.

Ownership & Risk

Risk of loss of, and damage to, the Goods passes to you at the time of dispatch from Clay & Hunt's warehouse.
If your item is valued over $100, you should contact Clay & Hunt to purchase Extra Cover which provides loss or damage cover up to $5,000. If your item is lost or damaged in transit and you haven't requested Extra Cover with Clay & Hunt, compensation of up to $100 and a postage refund may be payable, but the full costs of the loss of the item and it's value remains with the customer.

Ownership in the Goods remains with Clay & Hunt and does not pass to you until Clay & Hunt has received payment in full from you for the Goods.

Making a Purchase online
Please choose carefully when buying any product on this site. Ensure all products, colours, quantity selected, sizes, fits etc. are correct.

It is your responsibility as the customer to ensure this as refunds will only be given in accordance with our refund policy (see Sales Return Policy).

Customers please ensure all contact details, delivery address and all requested information are correct or additional costs may apply and delay the order.

Changes to Orders
We will endeavour to achieve customer satisfaction at all times but we ask for your patience where changes to orders are concerned.

We cannot change orders once they have been placed, although if notified by the customer of an order error (by email or phone) we will do our best to rectify/correct the error to that particular order prior to shipping.

We endeavour to have all displayed stock on hand. All orders will be completed as soon as possible.  Depending on availability of stock from our supplier, there are sometimes delays beyond our control. You will be notified if a long delay is expected.  Every attempt will be made to ensure products will be promptly available for purchase via the website and online store.

Refunds, Exchanges, Returns
Please refer to our Sales Return Policy.

You are entitled to statutory consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer law. CH does not exclude or limit those consumer guarantees.

If an order does not meet our terms & conditions or has been incorrectly placed, CH reserves the right to cancel the order and deduct the original credit card transactions fees and a $25 administration fee from the original invoiced amount.

Firearm and Ammunition purchases
We do not sell Firearms, Ammunition, and other selected products through our Online Store.

All firearms and ammunition on this website are only available for purchase within Australia. Under Australian law all firearms and/or ammunition purchases within any state or territory of Australia must comply with the following conditions:

  1. The purchaser must be a current citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
  2. The purchaser must be a holder of a current firearms licence within their state or territory of residence
  3. The purchaser's current individual licence category must meet the requirements of the firearm/ammunition being purchased.

Purchases through CH must also satisfy the following conditions:


  1. Will only be delivered directly to a nominated licensed firearms dealer for purchasers within WA, TAS, QLD, NT , ACT, SA & NSW.
    • It is the responsibility of the purchaser to nominate their firearms dealer.
    • The firearm will be shipped directly to the nominated licensed firearms dealer after approval of the purchase and payment for the firearm.
  2. For purchasers within NSW, VIC and SA, firearms may be collected by the purchaser provided they have an appropriate firearms licence and a valid permit to acquire the firearm.
  3. All orders must be accompanied by the relevant documentation and a copy of a current firearms licence.

 International Transactions

All firearms and ammunition on this website are only available for purchase within Australia and to Australian licence holders only (conditions apply).

Krieghoff factory firearms, parts and accessories will not be shipped to countries where Krieghoff are already represented. Clay & Hunt will only ship Krieghoff orders to Australian residents and to Australian addresses only.

All information collected and stored by CH as a result of your use of this site is used by CH only for the purposes of facilitating the supply of products and services to you, the customer and servicing CH’s relationship with you. Other than for direct marketing purposes, it is not disclosed to any other party, except where you the customer have authorised disclosure to a third party e-commerce facilitator.

CH uses PayPal to process the payments. This is a 100% secure gateway and no financial details are stored by CH. CH does not store credit card details.

Product Disclaimer
All colours of products are reproduced as accurately as possible, however a slight variation may occur in colour and size specifications. Colours may appear slightly different via this website due to computer picture resolution and individual monitor settings.

Although listed on the website, some items, sizes, colours and styles might not be immediately available or temporarily or permanently out of stock. We aim to ensure that our website is accurate, however, sometimes errors occur, for which we apologise.

Faulty or damaged stock received back within 7 days of purchase will be replaced in accordance with the Brand/Company Manufacturer's Warranty.

Each Brand/Company determine their own Warranty terms and conditions and will differ across our products.

Any misuse of any products will void the manufacturer's warranty.

We reserve the right:

  • To cancel any order, at which time we will immediately notify this action by e-mail or phone, using the details provided. We will refund all monies paid using our preferred payment method. In the case were an order has been placed incorrectly or not within our terms and condition, the credit card transaction fees and a $25 administration fee will be deducted from the original invoiced amount.

  • That all orders are subject to availability of stock.

  • To take reasonable steps to verify that the order and credit details are bona fide.

How do I track my online order?

Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, we will send a confirmation email to the email address you provided when making your purchase in store. This email will contain a tracking number.

Simply visit the Australia Post tracking website, enter in your tracking number and you'll be able to watch your parcel get delivered straight to your door!
